  **Note: This is addressed below, but wanted to put it at the top as well. Ramadan is only perscribed for those who are able to participate. This excludes children under the age of puberty, anyone who has an illness that will cause them to become sicker from the fast, and breast feeding mothers and pregnant women are also not required to participate. World Poetry Day

I think I put the better of the two of these on my chronic illness blog   DearFelicia , but here's my contribution to World poetry day. I'm Tired The day was great, I started at eight. I slept well and was ready to go. I said yes this day instead of no. It's now six and I'm heading back. I feel in need of a snack. Nine o'clock off to bed. I move the pillow unde rmy head. I wake th enext day sore and tired. I try to push  through so I don't get fired. By 12 I'm bearely holding on I went to far and stayed to long. The flare is coming,  I cannot prolong  this effect. My CFS has crept in. I'm tired now I must sleep. I hope I wake  from my long sleep. I'm tire now GOODNIGHT!

Ramadan Ready

I'm trying so hard to be Ramadan ready.  I'm all on board with the fasting, but the spiritual education I have planned for myself, while I'm on board, I'm not sure of my ability to maintain my goals. Ramadan Goals: 10 of 99 names of Allah Arabic studies Start/Finish Islamic Book "Ideal Musalimah" Learn a new Surah Of course a main goal that everyone has is to finish the Quran during Ramadan.  We will be working with our kids to go through the Quran together.
