World Poetry Day

I think I put the better of the two of these on my chronic illness blog  DearFelicia, but here's my contribution to World poetry day.

I'm Tired

The day was great,
I started at eight.

I slept well and was
ready to go.

I said yes this day
instead of no.

It's now six and I'm heading
back. I feel in need
of a snack.

Nine o'clock off to bed.
I move the pillow unde rmy head.

I wake th enext day sore
and tired. I try to push
through so I don't get fired.

By 12 I'm bearely holding on
I went to far and stayed to long.

The flare is coming,
I cannot prolong
this effect.

My CFS has crept in.

I'm tired now
I must sleep.

I hope I wake
from my long sleep.

I'm tire now

GOODNIGHT!
